Bottle provided by Chris for Epic Tres. Pours a hazy light yellow/orange, with a half fingers worth off-white head. Nose is spicy, A little Brett, some honey, and a little phenolic. Taste follows the nose, spice and honey dOminate with some mild funk and apple in the background. Mouthfeel is light, good carbonation, dry, and a moderate finish. Good, not great, one of my least favorite of the tasting. Think I prefer splinter blue to this.
Bottle at Peg’s Cycle BA Day. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong funk, wood, brett. Medium body, funk, oak, spice, nice dry finish, very good. mcberko (18949) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 18, 2015
750mL bottle, sent from AltCarl (thanks a lot, Craig), pours an opaque dark orange amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out funky brett, lots of oak, and some stone fruits. Flavour is complex as hell, with oaky wood, vanilla, apricoty stone fruits, and funky brett. Very complex, with a great mix of vanilla, apricots and wood. Really excellent. bytemesis (9196) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 21, 2015
2013 Bottle thanks to Cocoapuph. Pours hazy amber with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma is vinous, oaky, funk, barnyard, horse blankets. Flavor is light tart, some funkiness. Lightish body, medium soft carbonation. devman171 (1223) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - DEC 27, 2014
Bottle batch 2, aroma is heavy acetone and oak. Taste is thick and funky with a dry heavy oak finish. Tried a second day, heavy wood and nail polish still there, may be a bad bottle Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 25, 2014

Really interesting sour. The alochol is oddly non existent for such a big beer. Nice tartness and great oaky characteristics. Huge oak on the finish with some cherry, citrus, yogurt, and vinous notes. merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - MAR 10, 2014

xloved this, so much flavors, usually bourbon aged blond sours are overpowered but his one was balanced very nicely. Every sip just kept getting better, very impressive troegs! jackl (8423) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Bottle @ The HUGE Tasting. The pour’s deep gold with a small head. Strong acetic funk. Loads of barrel, concentrated lemon. The taste is pretty hot. Some nail varnish. Syrupy vanilla pear. Bourbon notes. Woody hot finish. Full body, aggressive. Overall, fine. pushkinwow (2895) - Ottawa, CANADA - FEB 2, 2014
Pretty sure this is from 2010, via in-person trade with orangesol IP Philly and brought to Sammy’s tasting. Cloudy copper with a creamy head. A great balance of light funk, horse blanket, mild chardonnay, oak, vanilla (but not too sweet), easy to drink with high carbonation, some aged blegian candied sugar and dry pleasant finish.
