Bottle. Rather a lawnmower beer. Clear yellow pour with fizzy white head. Grassy, floral aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet, slightly metallic, earthy. Light to medium body, average carbonation. Finish is crisp, with lingering earthy hops. Not bad, easy drinking. mesperon (205) - Hillsdale, New Jersey, USA - OCT 4, 2009
Clear yellow with thin head. Watery feel. Crisp straw flavor, with a little bt of bittering hops. Clean finish. Not a whole lot to it. run20six2 (123) - USA - AUG 29, 2004
A very good tasting beer. Lots of flavor for an Ale. Excellent finish with lots of taste. aarhus99 (6) - USA - JUL 20, 2002 does not count
This is not good beer. For a ’summer beer’, it tasted heavy, almost smoked. Was it skunky? Doubt it. The worst of a label from an underwhelming brewhouse. And I really did want to like these guys! JFGrind (2047) - Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 16, 2002
It’s summer and this beer is a lightly hopped easy drinking brew. Maybe that’s why it’s called a, ’Summer beer’.

Very average offering from Tröegs. Pale ale but very light on the hops. light color, light floral aroma. Disappointing.
