22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is light metallic, yeasty and mild spiced. Bitter and dense caramelish flavoured. Smooth spice profile and distinct yeasty phenolic note. Dry phenolic lasting impression. Ungstrup (37625) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2006
A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with notes of peaches and some notes of dust. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit, some of it a bit over ripe, as well as light notes of alcohol, but only light especially compared to the 11% ABV. joergen (28148) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2006

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy aroma with hints of honey. Sweetish malty spicy flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy finish. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 24, 2007
Bottled. Clear pale ruby red colour with a minor beige head. Aroma is cherry, alcohol, wood and some plum. Flavour is wood, berries, fruits and some metal. For an 11% beer this is very thin and empty, but it hides the alcohol scaringly well.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2007 Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear dark amber, brief head. Aroma of fruit and candy sugar as well as red currant liqueur. Sweet with clean mouthfeel. Some caramel lies underneath the red currant, and there are loads of malt. The massive alcohol is hidden in sweet malt, yet it does not become sticky. Finishes almost without bitterness. A complex and nicely warming beer. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2006
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Beautiful, clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of cherries and alcohol. Rather solid body with a warming alcohol, lightly spicy and with the cherries popping up again in the flavour. Even without any real hoppiness this manages to remain harmonious and very drinkable. 060706 Travlr (24826) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 22, 2008
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2010 Golden red, aroma of butterscotch candy. Flavor of caramel and smoke, with very light spice. Peppery, bitter finish. 3.6
2009 jeroboam at Churchkey. A year does amazing things to this beer, darkens it, loses its carbonation, brings out more dark fruits/figs/raisins. 4.0 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2009
16th August 2008. Clear reddish beer. Low carbonation. Dry and with sweet spirityness. The cherries present like a splash of cherry liquer. The hony is subtle. Warming spirity finish and dry. A pleasant sipping beer. cgarvieuk (24515) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 31, 2011
Bottle at home ... copper thin white head ... sweet spiced dark fruit nose ... little fizzy ... sweet honey ... soft toffee ... dark berry fruits ... juicy malts ... light oily body ... barest hint of licorice ... weird but nice
