A good beer. An interesting aroma but promising flavor. It goes down smoothly and provides a crisp finish. Good overall but nothing spectacular.

Sweet, nutty brown sugar aroma. Clear chestnut appearance under a thin white ring. Sweet, sugar and lightly spicy brown sugar with faint herbal hops and very low bitterness. Accents of bread crust. Smooth and slightly warming and quite clean.
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2017 Pours dark golden with medium head and light lacing. Aroma is caramel and raisin. Taste is toffee with a slight roast, blending with sweetness. Finish is smooth and creamy. Very drinkable beer with great reliability. djd07 (15648) - Houston, Texas, USA - SEP 3, 2017

Awesome dark red/brown color. Not much aroma.. just a hint of sweet malt. Taste is mostly malt and molasses. Not a big fan. Lager43 (51) - Watertown, Connecticut, USA - JUL 18, 2017
This dopplebock beer is a wonderful example of the style . Very nice carbonation and a nice malty beginning with a light fruit finish. This is a great Dopplebock for any time of year.
