Bottle: Labeled Scratch 24, this poured a reddish color with a nice head. The aroma was dark fruits and sweet malts. The flavor was grapes, raisins, plums, spice and malts. Nothing to crazy here, but worth a try. kuphish (381) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - MAR 27, 2010
Bottle of Scratch 24 from EithCubes. Pours a thin, foamy, beige head. Clear, red body with some purplish hues. Sweet, fruity nose of grape, peach and raisin. Flavor contains cherry and raisin as well as some plum. A bit of pepper and coriander to complement the fruity notes. Subtle but nice. Medium-light body with effervescent carbonation and a low alcohol profile. Overall a nice, fairly straightforward dubbel. ganache (5901) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2010
Bottled as Scratch 24. Chestnut pour with ruby highlights. Candy sugar, plum and minerally yeast cast offs in the nose. Sweet. Fizzy body, light tire air in with the minerals and plummy earth, faint booze, alternatingly dry and sweet. Fits the bill of a dubbel without exciting me terribly.

A: Pours an deep amber with a nice tall tan colored head. Real nice retention with some nice sheets of lace.
S: Aromas of Belgian yeast, (bubblegum and bananas) and light sweet fruit.
T: Very Belgian, lots of yeast with hints of bread. There is a strange off flavor going on here. Not sure if it has started to turn, but it is a bit off in flavor. Very tinny, metallic with mineral notes.
M: Medium in body, smooth, lingering meh.

Tried this as scratch #24, the beer poured dark brown with little head. The aroma was sweet, spicy with fruity raisin notes. The flavor was sweet with raisin and fruity notes and a hint of caramel. The beer was mostly dry on the palate. Overall a solid beer that is big and flavorful. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 23, 2010
Thanks to Rich for the bottle, as Scratch 24. Poured a lovely shade of smoked amber with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up peppery yeast and toasted banana notes over warm caramel and molasses maltage.. warm and inviting. The flavor found molasses at the core with lesser biscuit and caramel notes.. peppery yeast again with a little bit of dry-roasted smokiness too.. tasty malts with a kick of pepper on the memorable finish. Medium-bodied and bone dry on the palate.. for the most part, the yeast worked here, but it was a tad sharp and unbalanced at times.. overall a very tasty brew. arrogantb (1402) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2010
12oz bottle thanks to ShadesofGray, thanks man! Dark reddish-brown color, decent rocky head. Smells fruity, interesting. The flavor is some cherry, a little belgian style yeast flavors almost like a dubbel, not bad at all and I managed to drink the glass in about 20 minutes so it was pretty drinkable.
