3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask (gravity dispense) Birmingham CAMRA Festival 2005. A little bland, a slightly enticing barnyard whiff but not followed through in the rather thin appleskin flavour.
(draught) pours a hazy golden-yellow colour with no head. aroma of sweet apples and heavy grass, slightly leathery, with notes of barnyard and vanilla. flavour is quite meaty and oxidised, thin apple juice, with a hint of oranges, nettles and a very dry finish. medium-bodied with very soft carbonation. Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 3, 2009

A Mes rate: barrel at GBBF.oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 25, 2008
hazy lemon yellow colour. Lovely dry and tart apples with slight earthy notes. Striaght forward but a good wooden sourness in the finish and a tarty aftertaste really give it something to get stuck into. Good stuff.
GBBF2008. Hazy yellow colour, no head. Aroma is strong sweet apples along with some sourness. Flavour is very sweet apples with some wood. A very mouthdrying cider. Ungstrup (37898) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 16, 2008
GBBF 2007. An unclear golden cider with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both wood and apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of apples, leading to a dry finish. Boring.

Comments: Rubbery, phenolic, pungent cider with crisp tannins and alcoholic, vinous notes. Another top offering from this top producer. Very aromatic and coherent in mouth.
From barrel @ GBBF 2007, London. Medium yellow grey color with virtually none head. Aroma is light apple, sugar, sour. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 3, 2006
Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Recommended by cider bar staff as another smokey cider as per the vickerys. This wasnt smokey either? Cheesy with oak. Fairly dry some acidity and more yeasty cheese. Mmmm cheese. harrisoni (18820) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Bag in the box at Reading BF 06. Clear gold colour. Appley/rubber aroma. Even a bit cheesey. Very dry. Bit sour. Nice enough cider.
