Visual: (cellared for 5 years). Pours translucent marmalade orange with large bits of suspended yeast, no head, active tight clustered micro streams.

Nose: liquid barley malt, mild woody dank (lvl-5)-pungency

Attack: sour, light crisp, soft-puckery

Mid-palate: (lvl-3-sweetness), sour fleshy grapefruit, subdued subtle pukey, apple undertones, sweet barley malt backbone

Finish: woodiness, subtle bittersweet citrus peel, residual pukey malt

Summary: It says it is a blanche but it drinks unlike any witbier I've ever had. With no wheat listed in the ingredients, this one drinks darker but still has bitter orange peel nuances, though I'm not getting much coriander. Great all around balance and a unique style.

I bought this bottle at Boissons Center at Montagny. I drink it today at Bonfol in the Jacuzzi, just the paradise on this planet. If I compare with the Condemines white beer, this one is just the paradise and happy to drink a decent beer. It is a beer for the night or a perfect one during the summer. It is a white IPA, in my point of view. The color is yellow, creamy and troubled, carbonation a bit higher for the style, thin and white head. My bottle was not sour, the decent is hoppy, a bit sparkling, cereals, citrus an well balanced, highly refreshing and like the picture a good one after the ski, observing this beautiful nature of the Jura!!!!

Had it from a bottle. Good beer, with personality. It is possible to notice the citrus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Beers’n’more. Pleasantly hop-grassy nose, stays like that and is very crisp throughout. Refreshing and dry. An interesting take on a wit for sure!

CH-303 (2449) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - OCT 19, 2015
Appearance: Pale yellow, very hazy. Good amount of white head. Some sediments.
Aroma: Wheat, citrus. Grapefruit?
Taste: Wheat, citrus, fruit and herbs. Metallic bitterness. Slightly disappointed.
Bought: Halle aux Boissons (Matran), 330 ml, CHF 4.50

Kindly shared by Jaghana Couleur jaune trouble, mousse qui disparait. Nez levures , raisin, coing. Gout fruité coing et agrumes/citron, levures avec notes d’herbes et astringentes. Ressemble a une saison, pas trop mon style.

Bottle 33cl traded with CH-303 thanks ! A cloudy yellow beer with low head. Nose is grapefruit and yeast. Aroma is sweet malty, touch of wheat, green herb and grapefruit, quince, apricot notes, kind of wheat ipa, good body, too much grapefruit on my point of view.

Bottle @ Bishops Arms Savoy, Malmö. Unclear golden with a big and lasting white head. Minor gusher warming. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, citrus, spicy and herbal. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Has an unclean feel to it. 100715

Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle. Fresh and a bit perfumed beginning. Nice and full floral hops. Fresh perfumed and slightly sweetish mainpart. Round and smooth, nice fresh with a nice sweetish body. Floral ending with not too much bitterness. Nice! But for a Witbier a bit too sweetish without the distinct typical dryness.
