hazy golden yellow capped by a thin white head. nose of lemon and wheat. Taste follows with the addition of coriander. Body is light and slightly thin. Where was this during the heat wave?

finol (3500) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 15, 2012
Bottle from Drinks of the World, Zurich. Pours cloudy white golden with a white head. Fruity aroma of oranges and banana. Sweeter than most wit beers, but also typical taste of oranges and some herbs.

canicule (90) - IRELAND - OCT 26, 2011
330ml bottle. Pours hazy amber. Smells sweet and orange-citrusy. Tastes sweet - plenty of hops, finishes bitter and dry. Very refreshing witbier, as the name and the bottle suggests, would be good as an apres ski thirst quencher.

Backlog - May 13, 2010. My 330ml bottle shared with blankboy and garthicus. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of apple, mild alcohol, light spice and a hint of lemon zest. Simple, fairly fruit-sweet and yeasty taste, with almost saison-like spiciness. Average body, weak carbonation, some pleasant light grassiness in the finish. A nice simple drinking beer, I was impressed how much I enjoyed this, for all its simplicity.

Bottle. Pale cloudy golden beer with a very strong head. The aroma is gently citric and yeasty, and the flavour is quite bitter with a gently yeasty feel. Overall a reasonable but quite plain witbier.

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 4, 2011
9/9/9/10/10/9

rlgk (18844) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 4, 2011
Bottle. Hazy pale yellow, small white head. Grapefruit aroma with yeasty notes. Grapefruit flavor, perfume but also some sweetish notes.

33 cl bottle, thanks to tkrjukoff!
BB NOV 2010, sampled on April 1, 2011
Cloudy yellow color, small white head. Dry a bit skunky, not so pleasant scent. Mineral, acidic, dry taste; apple aftertaste. Weak mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Really not for me this one, didn’t like it.

ekstedt (6976) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2011
