(bottle) slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of skunky overripe peaches and prickly pear, slightly resnous, with a touch of alcohol, white grapes and banana skins. flavour is mostly pale malts, caramel and orange peel, only slightly alcoholic, with some light mango and a light-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation. caribou43 (1026) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - APR 23, 2015
BOTTLE 33 CL from Bov. BB aug-2015. Starts expectedly hoppy - not out of this world, but still - sweet fruit, grassy, lemon rind. But after a few minutes everything turns upside down... the fruit go away, leaving room for glue and sharp fusel alcohol. Tastes as bad as it smells - dry and very astringent, harsh phenolic bitterness. Like a homebrew gone wrong. gunnfryd (14886) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 16, 2015
Baran 060914. Red golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is malt, hop, caramel, grain. Flavour is sweet, malt, hop, grapefruit, peaches, caramel, grain, citrus. Full body. Nice/OK beer. King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 25, 2015
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2016 Beautiful clear amber color. Hoppy sweet smell. The taste is sweet with slight hoppy caramel notes. Relatively full taste with matching carbonation. However sometimes is the taste dominated by a metallic finish. Probably a production error, that is sadly not a very rare phenomena with trois dames beers. I had both cases.

bottle @ Party Source / Bellevue KY --- Cloudy amber brown with a bubbly beige head cover, lots of lace dots. Taste is caramel malt that gets punched by solid floral hops on the swallow. Not very complex, but it is very well-balanced. Strong and satisfying. eduardovl (1449) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014

Yes, we have Double IPA! This is a exciting discover: An Imperial IPA made in Switzerland... :)
A: Orange bit cloudy color (almost amber) with a small to medium beige head. Small retention and not many lacings left
S: Delicious flowery hops as it should be. Caramel malts. Citrus and very fruity smell. No alcohol (good point)
T: Delicious bitterness. Caramel malts. Sweet upfront. Earthy, grassy and citric hops. Fruity: Strawberries mainly. Yeasts. Very bitter: Great taste!
M: Creamy body. Medium to low carbonation. Molasses
D: To a beer with such ABV, I would say that it’s "dangerously drinkable". Extremely refreshing. The best Trois Dames I’ve had so far

Bottle, at Baran. It’s an unclear, reddish beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has a faint cellar hint, caramel malts and some grains. Resiny, citrusy hops. There’s a fine bitterness in the mouth, with pale malts, karamel, resins and citrus. Medium to full body, semi-dry and nicely carbonated, with a pleasant caramel finish and bitter finish. A bit malty this one, but fine anyway. 140906 Pindoc (121) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 7, 2014
Rating #1048 - March 30, 2014 - Older bottle from Jasper Liquor Merchants. Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is spicy, earthy hops, mild berry sweetness, mild citrys. Taste is very syrupy - hops have faded significantly i would imagine. Can’t give full praise to a hopless DIPA but despite its shortcomings, the beer was drinkable.
