The head is ok, body orange. It smells fruity, hoppy, intensive, aromatic. The taste is fruity, aromatic, hoppy, malt intensive.

Quickly vanishing yellowish head, amber opaque with lots of small bubbles. Ooddly flat nose, hints of citrus gras. Alcohol and bread smell is present behind wall of hops. Sharp, citrussy hop-laden aroma. Rather fizzy carbonation immediatly present on the tip of the tongue. Sadly not as floral as expected. Malty, full-mouthed middle complexity. And full-on complex hoppy aftertaste, retro-nasal lemongrass with hints of pineapple and caramel. Quite a joy to drink due to its changing flavor profile and long lasting astringent aftertaste.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle, 9%. Good, malty aroma, rather peppery, but in a good way. Cloudy dark amber colour. Good stable tan head. The flavour starts off nicely bitter, turns malty in a caramelly way. Some alcohol bitterness along with a clean hop bitterness. Warming alcohol. Good, also for the style.

Bamsen78 (5403) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 2, 2013
Bottle from Embrouille - thank you so much! Pours slightly hazy amber with airy off-white head. Clear, sweetish aroma of malt and hops with notes of alcohol. Sweetish, malty onset, quickly giving way to bitter, hoppy body with a lingering aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence, though hard to distinguish from the hoppy bitterness. Decent.

hobsch (505) - Cologne, GERMANY - OCT 3, 2013
Bottle 0.33l. Pours cloudy deep orange. Aroma is some citrus, malt, unspectacular. Taste is malty, slightly fruity, hops are hidden in the background. Overall okay but less interesting than the excellent Trois Dames IPA.

HerrKrinkle (11) - Montreux, SWITZERLAND - SEP 6, 2013
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Not over-the-top, well-balanced between the citrus and hop flavors. The typical barnyard feel is not as overwhelming as in the typical DIPAs. Very pleasant and almost an everyday DIPA.

Idiosynkrasie (7535) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - AUG 29, 2013
330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hop aroma with a strawy touch, lime, tangerine, a mineral touch. Taste is moderately sweet fruity, hoppy, notes of tangerine, papaya, some lemon counterweighs the sweetness, hints of straw; soft palate. Unpresent malt basis supplements the exposition of fruity hop notes; gentle DIPA.

ElDesmadre (3627) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 15, 2013
Bottle, traded with Allen. Strongly hopped beer, with notes of apricot and peach upfront, while pine and pale malts are somewhat less present. Nice, full body that balances the strong bitterness with its sweetness. Soft mouthfeel with a rather dry finish. Not overhopped, has just the right balance. Even the slight astringency doesn’t seem to be out of place. Very good!

thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2013
Bottle at Fork and Bottle, Zürich. Hazy deep amber, small head. Fruity nose, nice fruity bitterness. A gentle version of a double IPA.
