Gerbeer (3754) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 26, 2012
750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with very little head. Funky aroma a mix of over-ripe pitted fruit and garbage. Taste is better: fruity, light citrus/grapefruit, brown sugar, nice malts. Light bitter finish.

A dipa and a bit too sweet for me. Maybe the bottle didn’t travel well. The hops are nice but not pronounced enough.

CH-303 (2248) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - SEP 11, 2012
Appearance: Orange amber, clear. Some white head, but not too much. Aroma: Fruit and some hops. Sweet. Taste: Lots of fruit, sweetness. Some hops, but slightly muted. Info: 330ml bottle, 11/9-2012, BB: 30/4-2012

"Why did I open such a big bottle of IIPA at 10:30... WHY!!!! Honey brown with microscopic floaties every where a 1" cap is floating on top. BLETCH BLAA YACKERS YUCK!! Just took the first sip and this seems very ungood. Sweet apple aroma, sweat socks, hints of alcohol perhaps to many hints. Strange strange sweetnees, apple, lots of dirt. This beer is an complete mess, it kind of taste right but it all taste wrong. There is no bitter except for the lingering after taste. EWWWW just poured the last of this 750ML bottle and i got massive bacon bit sized floaties floating every where. The more I drink the more drunk i feel the less I hate this beer. I truly thought I’d be dumping this beer but I’m finishing some how. Just realized I’ve been talking about nothing for this entire review I NEED FLAVOURS!!! The preview for the Total Recall remake looks so bad......there better be a lady with three tits in it. Taste like dirt, apples, and lime. THE END"

33cl from Grain d’Orge, Moudon.

Eructoblaster (4205) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 15, 2012
Bottle - 330ml. Hazy amber body with a huge off-white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with flowery and oaky hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries fruity and oaky notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Well done.

reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 13, 2012
750ml capped bottle pours a hazy light brown color with a 3 finger white head that settles down to reveal some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is quite intense with some citrus and caramel and some earthy notes. Taste is dominated by earthy and citrusy (grapefruit and passionfruit) hop bitterness and an underlying caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation. I found this DIPA to be very pleasing and recommend others to sample this beauty.

Bottle. Poured a hazy copper color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy complex earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy earthy bittersweet flavor with a solid bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid brew.

In short: A messy IPA. Meh
How: Bottle 330ml. Consumed as fresh as possible a few weeks after we received it in Quebec
The look: Cloudy amber body topped by a large creamy beige head with good lacings
In long: Nose is a bit like fake flowers aromas (air freshener) and some oranges. Taste has sweet apples, cookies, boiled potatoes, oranges, pine-tree, bitter grapefruits, flowers, lots of dirty messed up yeast, a strong harsh acidity. Obviously not a clean beer. There is obviously a few problems with this beer but my bottle didn’t taste infected per say, it was just a big mess. I don’t think what I drank is what the brewer was trying to make. Bad and not cheap either, yet another crappy beer I shouldn’t have bought. If it is true that we learn from our mistakes then my IQ must be in the 200s by now.
