Super hazy orange and bronze coloured body with a very large, six centimetre tall, fast-dying off-white head, but a very good looking beer indeed. Aroma of super sour green apples, bunches of yeast, wheat, coriander seed, wheat, alcohol, grain and some funk - very nice and incredibly complex - even in the nose! Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong rich yeast flavours with a lot of complexities, from fruit which shows apples, pears and cherries along with a good dose of oak and dry flavours along with some wheat, coriander seed, banana, bubble gum and even cedar. Aftertaste shows a rich complexity that is filled with sour notes, alcohol, dry woods and yeast notes, but somehow this much better than expected, and a great beer! Overall, this was superb, and I’;m very happy I tried this and even happier that I didn’t have it carry it back from Switzerland! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 24-January-2017 for US$13,99 sampled at home in Washington on 19-February-2017. mansquito (6329) - Nueva York, New York, USA - NOV 26, 2016
Tria, Philadelphia tap: pours golden with little to no head in my pour. Aroma is wood, vinegar, apple. Taste is fairly sour. Definitey makes you pucker a bit. Woody and complex. Nice. freretoc (1935) - Besançon, FRANCE - MAY 5, 2016
Renobob (2064) - Besançon, FRANCE - MAY 5, 2016

A golden color with a white head. Lemons, vinegar, and spices in the aroma. The flavor is citrusy and sour with some lemons, sour apples going on. Aftertaste is also sour. Overall a good beer.

At James’ for his 12k tasting. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft earthy hops on the nose, a bit of musk, apple. Medium-bodied, don’t really get red wine so much, but nice wood, a touch of apple and fruit. Wood into the finish, a touch of soft musk. jtclockwork (16443) - , New Jersey, USA - JAN 11, 2016
