750ml bottle from...a shop in Tucson, bought 12/12. Clear, deep amber pour with a short, brief off-white head which leaves no lace. Nose is lightly sweet malt - like a wee heavy - and a hint of tartness. Medium body with low carbonation, which may be a function of a year in the cellar. Green apples, medium roast malt, wood, leather and lemons. Draught @ de klomp. Reddish brown color and a small off white head. Sour spicy nose with notes of horse & barnyard, vanilla, pepper, red apples, Vinegar, lemon and some earth and leather. Dry sour taste with red berries, lemon, horse pee, cereal, hay, some licorice root and oak.
