(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with raspberries, bread, spicy yeast, red fruit and a slight sourness. Fruity taste with raspberries, lemon, light grainy malt, red-currant, spicy yeast and a finish with a mild bitterness and a slight tartness. Medium body, mainly dry, but with a touch of sweetness. Tasty, highly drinkable and refreshing with a fresh raspberry touch. Very nice.

Sampoled @ omhper, thanks. High and fluffy off white head. Cloudy Red amber color. The aroma is a bit yeasty and with medium dark cara malts. Caramell taste with some raspberry and tiny acidity.

August 10, 2015 - at Volo, bottle (thank you R!) - my 54th birthday. That can’t be right, can it??? Cloudy orange-gold with a smallish fizzy off-white head. Fresh berry and lemon aroma, sweet/tart and somewhat funky - some dry bitterness; loved it. Taste is simpler, not much funk - sweeter too - more of a straight-up sweet raspberry beer, some alcohol. Average body, massive carbonation with a dry berry seed finish. Pretty decent.

I bought this bottle at Boissons Center Montagny. I drank the last Saturday at home, in Lausanne. In my point of view, it is an average saison, I was expecting something with more raspberry. The color is yellow/brown and pink, troubled. The foam is thin and white, average carbonation. The taste is a bit bland, not so sour, creamy, lactose, mineral and notes of raspberry but this taste could be a bit more fruity, drinkable and ok for the summer.

Not a big fan of this. Surprised to see it at 90. Expected to be my favorite of my flight, it was (probably) my least. Cool murky reddish pink color. Smell threw me, though. Raspberry flavored salad dressing...not resembling a saison or classic framboise (or any other ras sour) in any sense. Vinagrette flavor too. Too much for me. Acidic. Would be hard to drink more than a few ounces.

Many thanks for this sour beer to CH-303. Piwo zupelnie nie ma piany. Czerwona, a w zasadzie rozowa barwa, metnista. Zdecydowanie kwasne jest to piwo, lekko cierpkie nawet. Sour Ale z dzikimi drozdzami jakby, a malin tu tyle co mrowek w mrowisku. Kapitalne kwasne i wytrawne piwo doskonale pasowalo do Lasagni z Ricotta i szpinakiem.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours a cloudy brown with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong berry, funk, oak. Medium body, funky, berry, light acidity, nice tartness, very good.

TB
