Not a big fan of this. Surprised to see it at 90. Expected to be my favorite of my flight, it was (probably) my least. Cool murky reddish pink color. Smell threw me, though. Raspberry flavored salad dressing...not resembling a saison or classic framboise (or any other ras sour) in any sense. Vinagrette flavor too. Too much for me. Acidic. Would be hard to drink more than a few ounces.

Many thanks for this sour beer to CH-303. Piwo zupelnie nie ma piany. Czerwona, a w zasadzie rozowa barwa, metnista. Zdecydowanie kwasne jest to piwo, lekko cierpkie nawet. Sour Ale z dzikimi drozdzami jakby, a malin tu tyle co mrowek w mrowisku. Kapitalne kwasne i wytrawne piwo doskonale pasowalo do Lasagni z Ricotta i szpinakiem.

Bottle from Whole Foods PM. Pours turbid ruby with off-pink head. Nose is tart raspberries, yeast, earthy. Tastes tart, earthy, with fresh raspberry flavor, some warming funk, and a fruity, tart finish.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours a cloudy brown with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong berry, funk, oak. Medium body, funky, berry, light acidity, nice tartness, very good.

TB

Cybercat (5747) - Georgia, USA - MAR 29, 2016
Pours clear honey brown with an ephemeral buff head. Aroma presents strong, sour fruit note of pear, apple and a little cherry. Flavor delivers tart but not fiercely sour fruit with a hint of malt. Mouthfeel features firm body, subtle fizz, and a sour fruit finish. Pucker up!

rjplumer (1075) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 8, 2016
The aroma includes lemon, raspberry and bread. Body is a soft ruby haze. Sweet and heavy on the tartness to start. It does finish on the dry side. This will make you pucker up.

anstei (2173) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - JAN 30, 2016
Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Lots of raspberry, typical saison yeastiness. Hints of funk. Good tartness, not overdone at all. A bit murky in color.

Basically a very nice blonde brett with a hint of natural raspberry. My bottle was missing a few ounces so I thought it might be flat. I was surprised when it popped upon opening. I got another surprise at the nasty grime on the inside of the cap and rim of the bottle. I wiped most of it away and the beer seems about unaffected. Almost no raspberry in aroma..

wlajwl (6751) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 7, 2015
Aroma is raspberries, fruit peel/spices and slightly musty. The flavor is raspberries, melon/fruit peel and a strong tartness/sourness into the finish.
