MonsterMagnet (1521) - NETHERLANDS - SEP 4, 2017
Bottle from my somewhat secret euro santa, cheer anstei! Pours a hazy bright yellow with a white head. Really good farmhouse nose with barnyard stuff, wet straw but also grass and citrus, as well as some overripe sweet apples. If I stick my nose deep into the glass and inhale I get some feces, so I stopped doing that and just enjoy the beer with less intense inhalation. Taste is refreshing, with lemon juice, gooseberries, grass, pepper, white bread, some pineapple. Quite tart, quite sweet with a good bitterness to keep things in check. Zesty lemon and peppery finish, if a bit short. Like!

adamnase (810) - Kronoby, FINLAND - AUG 22, 2017
Bottle from boxbeers.dk (7% ABV). Pours yellow-golden coloured with a big white head. Aroma has lots of hops, tropical fruits. Flavour is grassy and fruity hops. Aftertaste is mainly grassy and barnyardy.

Svesse (8694) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUL 21, 2017
(Bottle) Golden colour with big, frothy, white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with grass, citrus, spicy yeast, herbs and lots of fresh perfumy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, spicy/estery yeast, bread, herbs and a balanced citric bitterness in a finish with fresh hops. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and really well balanced with lots of fresh hops, still not overly bitter. Well made, and very nice.

MrTipple (5539) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2017
Intense barnyard, rotting cheese, grain malts, dusty straw, light citrus fruits. Almost clear gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More bitter citrus fruits, zesty, light acidity, barnyard, grain malts, yeast, bread dough, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Interesting Saison, quite strong, nice citrus fruits. Bottle from Beers’n’More, Zurich.

thewolf (12714) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 10, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy pale yellow with a small, staying creamy white head. Aroma has sweet malts, esters, hoppy citrus, grapefruit, lemongrass. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has initial tartness, light lactic, solid hops, grapefruit, citrus. Lingering bitterness.

Grzesiek79 (4366) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 19, 2017
Many thanks for this beer to CH-303. Bottle 33cl and it is 7% ABV (Version with Yakima Hops). Sour, hops, Sour, hops, Sour, Hops, Sour and hops. I’m forget about something??? Yes This...beer is strong sour and perfectly and powerfull hoppy Ale:) Wonderfull hops aroma, taste like lime, fresh yellow citrus and strong sourly lemon juice, like a wild yeast sediment. Big and strong foam, absolutly dry, no sugary. I’m love it. Smells like fresh green apple. Thanks for this great sour saison ale Asbjorn.

Ernest (7749) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 6, 2017
Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, corn starch), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, apricot), lightly yeasty (barnyard), with notes of lemon taffy, plastic, pear syrup. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean/plastic. Medium body, velvety/watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. If not for the plastic-and-taffy odor and aftertaste, this could be pretty nice. It could use more finishing bitterness as well. Cleaner fermentation (presumably) would probably take this to mid/upper 3s territory.

weark (834) - Morges, SWITZERLAND - FEB 19, 2017

DocLock (10841) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2017
Bottle from Whole Foods PM. Poured hazy gold with white, fizzy head. Nose was tart citrus, lemon, mild funk. Tasted tart, lemony, citric, with some yeastiness as it warmed.

CH-303 (2291) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - DEC 12, 2016
Appearance: Hazy pale yellow. Slight white head.
Aroma: Tart fruit, not much else for me.
Taste: Sour, tart fruit. Not very saison to me, more of a sour/wild ale...
Bought: La Petite Brasserie (Fribourg), 330 ml, CHF 4.70
