Bouteille 33cl de la Cave à Bières, Yverdon. BB 12/2019
UPDATED: NOV 23, 2017 Found at Gerrard’s Market, Raspberry Double Jalapeños is an ale aged in oak barrels with jalapeños and purchased at $25.99.
The aroma of raspberries and Brettanomyces yeast are sensed as you drink. A fair carbonation is experienced in the body. A touch of oak is felt upon the mouthfeel in the slightly bitter finish. An alcohol content of 6.5% is unnoticeable to your senses.
The flavor of raspberries has a nice sharp tart to the take. A sticky raspberry is depicted when you lick your chops. Jalapeños are tasted upon the complexion of the beer. At times, a flare up of heat comes through. The feel of jalapeños reminds you of salsa. A light spice is detected each time you take a drink.
Brettanomyces yeast brings a funk to the air of the beer. The funk is fully comprehended in the finish. The funk is detectable in your sinuses too. Saison yeast is used and very distant. The finish yields the saison touch as the beer wanes.
Raspberry Double Jalapeños is an extraordinary barrel aged brew. The raspberries creates a tart body. The “Double Jalapeños” brings an expectation of heat, but the heat is low. A spice comes through from beginning to end, and combines with the tart bite. Brettanomyces and saison blend with the jalapeño barrel aging to create an entirely new beer to experience. Raspberry Double Jalapeño is a one of a kind.
Cheers. Prost. Drink for the love of beer.

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2017 Completely opaque. Dark caramel colour with a burgundy tinge. Aroma is freshly-chopped jalapeño. Taste has a good amount of spicy pepper with a backbone of tart raspberry. Really good for such a bizarre combination of flavours. madmitch76 (26850) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2017

Tangy raspberry and lemon getting sour. Mild gueuze. Very mild chocolate. Sour finish. Only a little warmth in the aftertaste betrays the chili. Okay.
Pours dark, rather xlear ruby orange. Small white head. Smell is clear pepper, bit fresh and sharp though' taste is bit bitter, mild acidic notes, peppers, but no heat . Very dry, woody. Very complex. Nice

I found this bottle at Montagny Boissons Center in june. I drank it yesterday, because I was really curious about this beer from a delicious brewery. I tried two beers with chilli and I was disappointed and I found my mouth on fire, so I was a bit suspicious about this one. I was pleasantly surprised and I was able to finish it. Firstly, I found the aromas of this beer very perfumed and I had the
impression that the barrel of oak was coming to my mouth. The color is brown, a bit red and troubled. The carbonation is high, white and brown foam. I could say that it is a complex beer, sourness, vinegar, raspberry and fruity but the end is dry, oak and some nuts but at the final. You discover the taste of jalapeños and they are jalapeños and the dosis is just perfect, giving a touch of soil and mineral. fonefan (53043) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2017
