Draught in 10oz flute. Hazy golden body under clinging head and lacing. Aroma is of ripe and sour berry with a hop bite that carries freshness of berries. Taste is, in order of experience, salt, sweet, and sour - all of equal strength. Finish is sour that lingers. Body is medium and clean to maybe a little sticky with a fruit-juice full finish. Healthy.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Liebefeld. Soft sour aroma, but almost no sourness on the tongue. Medium body, malt-forward, lively carbonation. Herbal, pepper. A soft beer throughout, but not boring either.

I really like this. Seems more like a saison to me. Aroma is citrus funk yeast malt. Flavors like nose plus perfect amount of tang. Excellent drinking.

Hazy orange color with small white head. Spicy yeasts, orange peel, Wit smell. A bit bretty. Taste is more spice and oranges. Bitter finish with a hint of sourness. Smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing and better than their other winter beer. Not too great either though.

Cloudy yellow color with moderately lasting foam. Witbeer resembling smell (with some herb notes). The ginger and orange tastes work well with the (very decent) sourness. Nice and refreshing, but not really sour but a bit doughy.

750 ml bottle. God this was a gusher, slow fizzy head that took like five minutes to die before I could drink it. Aroma is ginger root and light fruit. The flavor is a mix of sour and tart. Decent balance. Real drinkable for a guy that doesnt slam back sours. Body is effervescent ... Go figure, soild overall.

Poured from bomber. Big fluffy head but quickly dissipates. Great nose full of citrus, yeast and spice. Not very sour but nice. My label is mostly yellow and reads "ale brewed with oranges and ginger". Super tasty citrus flavors - lemon, lime, zest and some orange meld with Belgian yeast. Good but definitely not worth the $.

White-yellow color, very cloudy; huge white head, uber-uber-carbonated. Yeasty aroma with a tinge of candied lemon peel. The flavor is a nice juxtaposition of sweet maltiness (like the outside of a Lemonhead) followed by a tangy lemony tartness (like the inside of a Lemonhead). Im simplifying quite a bit, but thats the general idea. A touch soapy in the finish. Medium body, very smooth. Quite different and very good.

Botte, 75cl, at Baran. Its an unclear, yellowish golden beer topped by a big, creamy, white head leaving lacings. The aroma is lightly funky, with citrus peel, some lime and a light coriander seed touch. The flavor too is a bit funky, with a nice bitterness, a little sour touch and citrus peel and some coriander. Yeast hints. A bit heavy on the carbonation, but in a nice way. A bit thin on the palate. A very refreshing and nice beer indeed. 140906

Draught. Hazy hay yellow liquid with enormous white head. Aroma of white pepper, lemon peel, apple skin, bread, barnyard and leather. Taste is dry and light sour with notes of lemon, white pepper, barnyard and apples. Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice.
