Fra kran på bryggeripuben 14 Jun 12. Kullsort. Lavt, litt farget kremaktig skum som fester seg til glasset. Sterk & god kaffearoma. Smaken også veldig kaffedominert. God - men uvariert.

Tastes like a young and fresh ale. has a great color for a Porter. It tastes good with a little roasty coffee in the background. Tastes of fresh hops which I don’t like that much in a Porter. The taste of roasty grain is masked behind the fresh tasting hops. Lacks maturing! But it’s a good beer for a great evening at Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri.

On tap at brewpub. Dark brown color, little head. Caramel fruity aroma and flavor. Some roasted malt. Hints of coffee. Medium body. Red berries in the finish. Some nutty flavors come through late in the aftertaste. Nice balance, a little on the bitter side.

Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with a creamy beige head. Caramel aroma with hints of roast. Good roasted flavours with hints of caramel and berries. Not bad.

On tap @ the brewpub. Almost clear, dark amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is light roasted malt, mild mocha and a little hint of coffee. Flavor is light roasted malt, a bit fruity, some caramel, sweet aftertaste and not much bitter. Body is thin and make it a bit watery and unbalanced. OK I guess but not very exiting.

Taster at the brewpub. Pours deep red/brownish with a big creamy beige head.Aroma on the sweet side, light roasted malts. Taste is almost identical to the aroma, roasted malts and dark fruits, with a rather short finish, medium to low bitterness . Watery mouthfeel. Not their best brew.

Clear deep red with tanned film. Faint prune aroma. Sweet, bitter and roasted malts. Well balanced. Medium bodied and a bit astringent.

Snitt (330ml), draught at the brewpub. Nice appearance with a deep reddish tint to clear, dark brown body. Topped by beige patches. Smell of sweet malts, slightly roasted. Careful roasted malts in flavour with late arrival of sappy, dark fruits. Short bitter tail. Rather watered texture. Needs more body. Quite likeable, though, but their steamer was much better (Trondheim, 12.03.2009)
