Draught @ Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri, Trondheim
Pours clear dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, floral and hint of coffee. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long chocolate finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear looking dark brown beer with a finger thick beige head. The aroma is quite weak, with roasted malts and a burnt-like sourness. Some coffee in the flavor, along with roasted malts, some bonfire and hoppy bitterness. Medium body, dry and quite heavily carbonated. Roasted malts dominates the finish. A very gentle Porter, easy drinkable. 140621

gyllenbock (8572) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2014
On tap at the Brewpub in June 2014. Dark reddish/brown with a small head. On the sweet side with light roasted malt, light coffee, fruit and caramel. The body was thin. Drinkable but not that exciting.

A bland ghost of what this beer used to be a couple of years ago. Something must surely have gone wrong in the brewing process. The beer is dark reddish and does not have any smell besides pale malts, and the taste is of bland tones of pale malts with some wage notes of burnt malt. Not a beer I would recomend.

10cl sample at the brewery. Black colour with a small light brown head. Aroma is mild roasted coffee and roasted malts. Flavour is a tad watery but so are most of the porters Ive tried. Hints of coffee, malts, caramel and some sweet notes I cant quite identify. Bread or yeast perhaps. Toffee. Short aftertaste, but I like it.

Draught at the Trondhjem Mikrobryggeri, Trondheim, Norway. Dark reddish brown colour with small creamy tan head. Roasted malt, caramel sweetness and nut in aroma. Flavour is dark malt and diacetyl. Watery. This one is a disappointment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
