Sampled on tap at State of Origin Brew Festival. Pours a cloudy yellow color with white head. Sour, wheat, tangy, lemon, grain aromas and flavors. Refreshing.

On tap at Beer Camp Across America southeast. Pours a hazy yellow with minimal head or lacing. Aroma is sour lactic mash with a nice wheat malt back end. Taste follows, good balance, not over the top but nice sourness. Enjoyable, but nothing crazy.

Pours a cloudy yellow. Pairs well with the fruit mix shot that they give you with this beer. Sour but refreshing. Definitely worth a try!

jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Pours a light hazy yellow with no head. Aroma of sour wheat, slightly sweet malt and citrus. Taste is lots of wheat, funk, very light. Very different for a Berliner.

burg326 (5619) - Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Poured a cloudy milky yellow color with aromas of light smoke, tart wheat and some light lemon. Flavors are the same with light lemon a touch of funk and some light wheat. Interesting.

On tap at TBC. Nice to see them try at this style, and the first stab isn’t so bad. Light orange pour with a medium head, sprightly carbonation. Nose is bright citrus rind and modest funk. Playful mouthfeel, moderately tangy palate, could crush this over the course of an afternoon. Flavors aren’t especially complex, but it’s tart enough, with sourdough grain vibes like Ethan mentioned, and pleasing as it tends towards the brighter end of the spectrum.

Extremely murky white pour with one finger loose head. Earthy/grainy nose with a light tartness. Nice tartness (almost sour) in the flavor. Lite biting character. Earthy grains and a touch of a sourdough note.
