On draft from the brewery. Pours a slightly greenish-gray very pale gold. As hazy as possible. Huge white head. Nose is lots of rosemary, wheat, slightly tart notes. Taste adds a salty character that’s a bit too much. Dial back the salt and push up the tart, and this would be awesome.
Sample at Release the Funk 5. Hazy to cloudy orange yellow color. Earthy rosemary aroma. Just the right amount of rosemary complementing the earthiness of the taste. OldGrowth (3665) - the Containment Area, North Carolina, USA - JUL 2, 2016
Tulip at Trophy pizza. Good aroma medium tart scent, with moderate Rosemary. Tad hazed golden yellow color, not much head or lace. Moderate sour flavor. Light body, thin smooth mouthfeel, tart finish that lingers. Solid offering really like the aroma most jtclockwork (17604) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 14, 2015

Sampled on tap at State of Origin Brew Festival. Pours a hazy golden orange color with white head. Rosemary, herbs, lemongrass, floral, sour aromas and flavors. Enjoyed the Participant more. GTAEgeek (2497) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 13, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy yellow with a big, fluffy, white head. Immediate mango and a lot of rosemary, with some lemon zest and white bread. Very sweet, and just a little salty. Low sourness. Light body, creamy, and just a little acidic. Overall, a very curious and interesting beer, but not really a combination that works that well, in my opinion.

This beer is something! Fresh garden taste with a bang of rose merry up front and a sour/tart finish that is common in a gose. Definitely not gonna drink three or four of these in a row but is tasty when just enjoying one. A must try if you find your way to TBC in Raleigh. Pours cloudy with a nice golden hue. Heavy on the rosemary - not unpleasant and I don’t like rosemary. Sessionable and great with some brie and bacon pizza. emacgee (4711) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - JUL 17, 2013
Very cloudy lemon rind yellow pour with a minimal frothy white head. Rosemary is big on the nose, very herbal and lightly spicy. Somewhat sweet on the flavor, lots of rosemary. Touch of salinity and spice on the finish. TURDFERGUSON (4068) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Tap at trophy. Pours super cloudy (well opaque, really) straw yellow with a small ring of white lace. Nose shows a super amount of rosemary and coriander up front. Smells like some rosemary foccocia bread. Flavor is similar though a little toned down from nose. The rosemary still takes over everything which is a shame cuz the base gose actually tastes pretty clean, snappy, and inviting. Salt is definitely evident in the finish. On tap at TBC, Raleighwood. Love the idea here. Not having had too many examples of a gose, I was a touch surprised to find this beer - which is a beaut to look at, deep gold and nicely carbonated - was far less salty than expected. Just a touch of brine (with it a hint of tartness) in a way that accentuates the rosemary, though not to the point of making it one-dimensional. Gives the brew an overall bracing, refreshing quality.
