3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orage pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is overly grainy with some hops on the backend. I was expecting something a little more hoppy. Im hoping this one will be more dialed in but, as it stands its kind of bland.
BBD 12/17/17. Almost clear, slightly cloudy, amber pour. World class head volume, lacing and retention.
Quite outstanding nose of tropicals (mango, pineapple) and tangerine over a softly sweet bready base with a hint of caramel. Underneath is a very subtle zest and spruce aspect.
Light body with a texture similar to water. Quite outstanding carbonation / body balance. The middle is prickly with effervescence while the finish is a bit more finely bubbled and delivers a prickly rush.
The flavor profile is borderline very good for a session IPA but lacks the rich complexity suggested by the aroma. Bitterness is rather mild and complexity is masked. However, balance is world class. The flavors never separate well due to lack of a contrasting sweetness. What does arrive is blended citrus with a hint of spicy spruce. Towards the finish, orange hints are provided. Flavor intensity is outstanding for a session IPA. It has no watery aspect whatsoever. The finish lingers with a note of tangerine zest. jsquire (4599) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - AUG 4, 2017
Golden color out of the can with a big fluffy off white head. Great nose of orange and pineapple juice. Firm bready malts with lots of orange, red grapefruit, pineapple and stone fruit hops. Full flavored for a session IPA. Snakoby (1) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 8, 2017 does not count
Amazing especially for a "session."' Darker than any session I've had before. Citrus hop aroma perfect for a summer day.

Pint at Ruckus Pizza Morrisville. Ok aroma. Sweet. Minor citrus, woody. Clean golden orange color, good head and lace. Moderately bitter lightly sweet flavor. Light body, thin creamy mouthfeel, fairly bitter lightly sweet finish. Wanted to like this more, but it’s a kind of run of the mill pale/ IPA type beer. Can. Slightly hazy golden color, small white head. Very fruity aroma. Taste is bitter straw and fruit, dry finish.

Super fresh can only bottled two days ago. Very nice nose that is on the tropical side of the hops. Taste is very smooth and much like the nose. A great session IPA! malvrich (351) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - SEP 25, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2016 Super fresh can (stamped 9/20/16). Tulip glass.
A: Deep dark orange color poured hard to only a short beige head. Poor retention but good lace.
S: Resinous and sweet pine, spruce and tangerine. Light but dense rustic smell.
T: Orange peel face slap. Bitter zest and pith with pine and puckering tart juice filling out the finish. Malts perceived as light toast or wood.
M: Crisp carbonation cuts through a resinous mouthfeel. Substantial body for 4.9%.
O: Must say I’m impressed. Nice complexity/development of aroma/flavor. A tad more malt sweetness would really set it off but overall highly recommended as is. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 25, 2016
Tap at the brewery. The look is mostly clear, golden in color, off white head. The smell is melon, watermelon candy, fruit, hops, light. The taste is crisp, same melon fruit flavors. jrob21 (3802) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 26, 2016
