100 ml sample. Dark brown, big beige head. Spicy „Belgian” aroma - green pepper, very light roast. The taste is light sweet, masked by a brutal burnt bitterness. Not much chocolate etc. Pretty harsh. (backlog 17-JAN-2016)

From a 330ml bottle on 26/1/2016. Pours a deep brown with a small to medium head. Has an unusual nose for an impy with Belgian yeast and spice most prominent. In the mouth, it’s a little more standard, with lots of chocolate, cocoa and fudge, some mild spiciness and medium roasty bitterness. The texture is quite creamy and the carbonation soft. While not the most sophisticated or complex brew, it’s still pretty tasty, bold and rather enjoyable.

Piana obfita, koloru ecru, trwała i ładnie zdobiąca szkło. Barwa ciemno rubinowo brązowa, wydaje się klarowna. Aromat z jednej strony czekoladowy, karmelowy, z drugiej owocowy - głównie czarne i suszone owoce, odrobina dzikich nutek, Porto, Sherry - ogólnie przypomina to Quadrupla. Goryczka średnia do niskiej, alkoholowo przyprawowa.

Buena cerveza belga.

ON 33 cl bottle. PItch black color, good foam. HIgh aroma intensity; leather, roasty, licorice, coffee and some dark choclate with a nice yeast influence. Full body & high complexity. Just a little immediate sweetness, good bitterness balances very well. Very enjoyable

0,75l bottle. Pours very deep brown with tan head. Nose of yeast, a bit burnt malt and some wine overtones. Medium density, starts rather sweet with a roasted bitterness in the end. More of a regular porter rather than a full-fledged imperial stout imo.
