Draught at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Remarkabkly cloudy dark brown, mid sized head. Milk chocolate and jelly up front. Sweet with full body and soft mouthfeel. Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with a dense and lacing light brown head. Subtle roasty nose, some dark fruits up there too. Solid body, heavy roast and licorice with quite some malt bitterness. Some phenols too from what I believe is Belgian yeast. Not so shit hot for an Imperial Stout. 311011 madmitch76 (24791) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2013

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours deep red-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds lots of toasted brown bread, toffee, caramel. Big sweet flavor with more toffee, dried fruits, slight earthy bitterness. Medium I full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish with sticky burnt sugars, more caramel, dried dark fruits. Simple.
