750 ml bottle into chalice, bottled 8/4/2011. Pours hazy golden orange color with a nice 2 finger fairly dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings to the glass, with a good amount of carbonation streaming up. Aromas of huge grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest, herbal, pine, mango, peach, pepper, pear, earth, honey, yeast spiciness, and a touch of alcohol. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity; intense and a bit resinous feeling. Taste of big grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, mango, pineapple, pine, pear, herbal, floral, pepper, honey, bread, earth, and yeast spices. Good amount of spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pine, tropical fruit, pepper, pear, earth, and yeast spices on the finish for a good bit. Nice flavor balance and complexity; with a nice malt/hop flavor to peppery bitterness balance with no cloying flavors at all. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a fairly creamy, slick, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian IPA. Very big Cascade hop presence; with a good balance of Belgian complexity and fruitiness in the background. Very smooth to sip on for 9% as well. Highly enjoyable offering. marcus (10145) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Bottle at Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Pours golden with a huge off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a very dry caramel malt flavor that starts sweet with some sparkle and finishes bitter and spicy. phaleslu (10099) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 4, 2012
On tap at The Bridge. Pours a clear golden color with a small, wispy white head. Aroma of pine resin, candi sugar, bubble gum, sweet malts, and tropical and citrus fruits. The flavor doesn’t have quite as much fruit, but a good amount of sweetness and some husky grains. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, sweet mouthfeel and fairly low carbonation. Cool and unexpected to see this little one-off gem on tap in STL. milewide (2221) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 29, 2012
Slightly cloudy amber color. Full body and foamy head. Belgium yeast flavor is nicely balanced with American hops. Alcohol enters taste. Worthwhile, but not worth the steep price! gringo332 (639) - Richardson, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Bottle. Poured hazy copper with an average to large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex funky hop and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a interesting complex beer.

Pours mostly clear amber with some sediment in suspension. Big off-white head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma has belgian yeast and citrus. Perfumey. Taste is sweet with some citrusy hops. Medium bodied and nice pleasant bitterness. Super easy drinking. Very tasty. fr5ed (62) - Florida, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Sweet candy flavor with a touch of hop bitterness. Like a Belgian tripel plus hop presence. So good!!

The aroma is fruity, hoppy, malty, and a bit plastic. The appearance is amber gold with a foamy head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a nice beer. Palidor19 (3186) - Brandon, Florida, USA - APR 28, 2012
A wild beer with a strong aroma emphasis of floral and mild tropical fruit. The cascade hops though strong are not over whelming. The strenght is immaculate. Not for a casual drinker. freeofthoughts (688) - Raytown, Missouri, USA - APR 14, 2012
Pours orange yellow with white head. Smells like a tripel, sweet bubblegum and grainy and fruity. The taste is close to a standard Belgian tripel, if slightly less on the carbonation and fruitiness than some others. The grain is full and smooth with an up front orange peach bitterness that goes really well with the spritzy carbonation that make the palate well organized. It finishes smooth with a soft orange peel bitter and grainy sweetness, not much dryness. Very good and unique tripel ipa.
