On tap at Tripel bar, Amsterdam. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of malt and Belgian yeast. Some sweetness. Pretty nondescript for a 9% beer.

Clear amber with pretty head. Boiled or baked fruit, caramel, spices, moderate sweetness, and light to moderate bitterness, citrusy and piney hops. Very good.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 9%alc.

Imperial IPA douce, ronde, gourmande, puissante, belge.

Hazy amber, white head. Aroma is sweet, full of caramel and candy. Some hops, and malts. Doesn’t smell like an IPA, that’s for sure. Taste is sweet, with a malty base and honey and raisin notes, but also some mango. Alcohol warmth is also present. A bit too sweet, but there’s also noticeable bitterness. Pleasant, warm aftertaste.
