Bottle, 330 ml, at home. Into a tulip glass. ABV 9% Slighty hazy body, very deep orange to light red in colour, with a very tall off-white head sitting on top and overflowing from the glass. Good retention, thick lacing rings left on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruits, pineapple, qute hoppy, some malts. Taste is malty, very fruity and again very hoppy.Aftertaste also very fruity with a hint of the high ABV. Really great, although with the bitterness on mid-range levels but with a good, long duration. Good carbonation with a soft bite on the tongue, medium thin body, nice dryness on the palate, a warming touch from the alcohol.

Bottle 0.33l from Marlou Zonhoven. Pours a hazy orange with a big white head head. Medium carbonation. Aroma is sweet, caramel with bitter fruit. Taste is malty, slightly sweet with touch of citrus a good hop bitterness. Very smooth for 9.0 ABV. Very good belgian IPA. Not just a hop enhanced triple.

2013.08.28 - gent, café de walrus (coupure) - donkeroranje bier, troebel en met brokken, weelderig crème-achtig schuim dat blijft aanhouden - neus : citrus, mout - smaak : beetje caramel, fruitig en vooral BITTER

Bottle at The Fiddler, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy rich orange amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is rich malty and some earthy peaty notes. The flavour is strong bitter with lots of crisp, sharp yeast and liqourice on the palate. A great DIPA but the liqourice and alcohol are starting to dominate.

Bottle while enjoying mussels at Brabant. Pours hazy orange with big head and nice lacing. Light nose of yeast and fruits. Tastes of tropical fruits, light grapefruit hops, black pepper, Belgian yeast, and caramel finish. Pretty delicious.

Lovely aroma of orange and tropical fruit, nice white foamy head, hazy orange colour. Smooth on the palate with a light hint of the 9% ABV, very well balanced, not to hoppy. Good Belgian IPA :)

Bottle at home, Beermerchants.com, 04/08/13. Hazed dark orange amber, good sized white head, some floaties at the end which drops the score for me from 4 to 3. Nose is bitter orange, caramel malt, candyfloss. Taste comprises orange pith, tangy red grapefruits, sugars, bitter tropical notes, caramel vein running throughout, light yeast, soft bread dough. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, dry finish with some hop bitterness. Solid enough DIPA - one of the better Belgian brewed IPA’s I’ve had.

Tasted at SIBF 2013. Cloudy orange, like an IPA with a lot of tropical fruit. Yeasty (though I got the bottom of the bottle on the pour). Little bit of wheat, and citrus rind, and yep -- tons of tropical fruit. Definitely good.
