Bright orange with two fingers of creamy, lacy head that sticks all over the glass. Very carbonated and bubbly like youd expect from a Belgian. Really strong nose, orange, fresh baked bread, caramel, alcohol, and underlying floral and earthy notes; very complex. Taste starts off quite sweet with light fruit (ie mango, orange), toasted malts and finishes mildly bitter with an herbal hop. Really light on the palate, especially for a double IPA. A good, but not great beer. Id still prefer Houblon for a Belgian IPA.

Soft malty and syropy nose. Pale beige large head and leaving lace. Golden color. Slightly sour taste of syrup and fruit. Roasty and slightly bitter taste. Adding bottom sediment made beer hazy.

Keg at Lowlander, 27th March 2013. This is a tasty double IP, drinks easily, nice clean hops and refreshing, drinks below its ABV

Copper foggy color. Non existant head. Smells of sweet butterscotch, light hop, caramel and brown sugar. Rich body with caramel, and goes down like a buttery chardonnay. Beautiful beer thats very well balanced and complex.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2013 Pours hazy amber with three finger head. Looks very nice. Lots of carbonation. Aroma is very hoppy and fruity. Taste is hoppy, sweet and dry aftertaste. Very high drinkability despite the high alcohol. Sweet, dry finish, medium body.

Copper coloured IPA, with thick head. Fruity American hops floating towards my nose. Flavor has sweet and bitter fruits. At first there is sweetness which steps away to give the floor to bitter hops. There is some twist here I cant describe, it has something to do with the belgian yeast? Exciting beer, not the regular Imperial IPA.

Appearance was cloudy copper gold with off white diminishing creamy 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet caramel, slight floral citrus, pine, herbal danky hops with hints of candi, no alcohol. Taste are sweet caramel malts with deep fruits of plum like and lemon spicey danky herbal hops. Little alcohol with estery sourness with candi, also. Palate was soft smooth creamy CO2 with medium body, then long estery yeasty citrusy finish. Smooth Belgian IpA.
