Copper foggy color. Non existant head. Smells of sweet butterscotch, light hop, caramel and brown sugar. Rich body with caramel, and goes down like a buttery chardonnay. Beautiful beer thats very well balanced and complex.

Hazy orange colour with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, specially citrus fruits but there is also honey, yeast, and some caramel. Wow, taste is really strong. At first umami and some sweet notes. Then arrives bitterness and even some alcohol. Continue to drink, and you won't feel umami or sweetness anymore. Bitterness prevails. It is medium-bodied and oily-textured. Somewhat sticky. Carbonation is quite lively. Finish is very long and bitter. Maybe a bit much too bitter for my taste. There are many elements that I like but overall it is less good than its parts. All in all, it is indeed a good beer but I can do without it. The best thing of this beer is its heavenly aroma.

Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma has honey, malt sweetness and bitter dried orange peel. Taste is quite well balanced between the initial malt sweetness and the hop bitterness which grows towards the finish. Flavor is mostly pine resin and orange. Medium body and carbonation. On the downside, the alcohol is quite present and warms a bit too much.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark intense gold with very fine white foam, quite persistent. Aroma is resinous, some caramel and citrus. Body is dense with nice carbonation and some stickiness. Taste starts sweet, going towards bitter afterwards. Finish is rather long and sweet.

Abbinamenti : Cronenberg 'La covata malefica' Rush '2112' VOTO 8.5
