Great ipa. There is a lot more going on than just bitterness. Complex flavor with grapefruit and floral grassy notes. Prickly soft carbonation. The 9% does not come back in the flavor. Will definitely buy again.
Bottle at hoppy loft. Hazy orange colour medium white lacing. Nose is hoppy, light flowery notes. Taste is lpw bitterness. Watery mouthfeel. It might be just that its my 256725th beer today but feels empty. davidf93 (113) - Stellenbosch, SOUTH AFRICA - JUN 17, 2017
Orange-peel hop aromas. Good amount of lacing, murky peach colour. Rich mouthfeel, great beer. murran (639) - - JUN 16, 2017
Pours a hazy amber body with a medium head. Malty nose with yeasty tones. Taste is sweet malty with an alcohol sting in the finish.

Hazy amber, white head. Aroma is sweet, full of caramel and candy. Some hops, and malts. Doesn’t smell like an IPA, that’s for sure. Taste is sweet, with a malty base and honey and raisin notes, but also some mango. Alcohol warmth is also present. A bit too sweet, but there’s also noticeable bitterness. Pleasant, warm aftertaste. Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Varm gylden. Litt uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Spotlacing. Lett krydderaroma. Smaken søt frukt. Balansert. Lett plommepreg. Gjennomgående alkoholsmak men ikke ødeleggende.

From bottle. Cloudy liquid, yellow color. With white cup. Sweet honey taste. Long sweet aftertaste. dimeon (228) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 25, 2017
A: Amber with a large off white head
N: Caramel, bitter
T: A Belgian take on a slightly lighter barley wine. Sweetness and malts galore, but also there is the ample bitterness. Candy, pine
O: Brilliant balancing act. Malt and hops in oodles, but neither dominates. BenL8 (184) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 24, 2017
First off: this is a Belgian strong, not an Imperial IPA. Pours golden to copper, hazy, with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet, resiny and bitter hoppy. Sweet and heavy mouthfeel. Flavours are intense, sweet and heavy, spicy, resiny and herbal from the intense hops. Very sweet malt base and distinct Belgian flavours. Finishes sweet and hoppy. Really nice. rayaron (1811) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - MAY 23, 2017
Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontaines, Brussels. Hazy orange with big bubbly white head. The aroma has notes of citrus (grapefruit), some maltiness, somewhat buttery, onion. Sweetish and bitterish flavor with notes of citrus (grapefruit, clementine), a bit alcoholic, nuts and onion. Medium to full-bodied. vbaudry (141) - - MAY 21, 2017
Nose of spices, hops and wild yeast, on the champagne side.
Medium body totally on citrus and orange especially.
Big final bitterness.
A bit sickening.
