Bottle. The aroma is light fruity, also a little bit malty and sour. The normal large white creamy head has a long duration. The body is cloudy and dark orange. The taste is malty, a little bit medical and light bitter. The body is very creamy, medium strong with a normal carbonation. A nice beer!

Copenhagen 18/11 2017. 33 cl bottle from Ørsted Vine. Golden brown label very much in style with the "Magma" theme. Pours hazy orange with very big bubbly, yellowish head. Settles as 2 cm thick creamy layer of fluffy foam. Aroma is rather weak. Fermented oranges, sugar and light odors of humid basement. Some sourish notes as the beer warms up. Low carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is stronger. Fruity sweetness balanced by medium to strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish semi-dry. More Belgian Tripel than a IPA. But the bitter edge suits it.

Keg in a pub on the Nov 2016 crawl around Southampton with Ian. Served way too cold. As it warmed up so I was beguiled by its charms. Full bodied sweet malt with a sprinkle of citric hops. Fruity and yeasty and yummy.

Appearance: orange, hazy. aromas: I noted some cheese aromas before a nice floral nose. Medium body for this type of beer. Overall they managed to well balance this , it is easy to drink and you can't taste the alcohol much.

What a strange mix! Very flavoursome overpowering in many ways. Where to start? A very complex beer. Wonderful belgium yeast and malt flavors with fresh hop flavors coming through followed by a touch sour finish. Its quite yummy but also all over the place! A rich complex beer that is fun but just a little too much for my taste outside of small doses. If you want your triples to be hoppier or your ipas to have a belgium flavour this is the beer for you. But its a bit sticky and sickly for me. Maybe a good bottle to share.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit, heavy caramel malt, floral, booze, different. Appearance is brownish amber, light tan head, hazy and unfiltered. Taste is banana, clove, booze, yeast, caramel malt, light floral, not very hoppy but tons of yeast and malt, closer to an Abbey Tripel in flavor. Mouthfeel is medium body, medium carbonation, caramel banana booze yeast aftertaste. Overall, this is a good Tripel but a bad IPA. Are we sure it's not supposed to be classified that way?

Pours amber with a very big white soft head. Very weak aroma of bread crust, malt and belgian yeast. Very distant citrus notes. Taste is malty and sweet with no particular features, but its full body and medium carbonation make it very nice to sip. No near an IPA, this is a Belgian Triple from start to finish.
