Dark candy aroma. Mouthfeel is great. Very light and no watery feel. Definitely a good pick when Belgian beers are concerned.

Texture huileuse, carbonatation moyenne. Bière corpulente, gourmande et ronde. Alcool très bien intégré, mais chaleur présente. Une bière "dessert", veloutée.

Dark brown an initially soft serve looking head collapsing to a thick ringed crust and sticky lacing. Nose is thick sweet roast, lots of sticky honeycomb and brulee vibes. Initial taste is bright, engaging and not at all as dark as it looks. Rich, vibrant rasin and soft choc bread - an exceptional balance of light and dark without being roasty or quenching. Sweetness is easy going, mostly on the finish a neat Daim bar crackle and smoothness. Mouthfeel is little bit sticky but carbonation exceptionally smooth. Lingers out a soft choc tang (softer marmite) and the ABV is drowned out in smooth flavour. Exceptional.
