Sampled this beer from the bottle. Upon pouring I instantly noticed it's ruby brown color with a generous rich brown foam head. The aroma displayed characteristics of rich chocolate and some dried fruit undertones. It had a sweet chocolate flavor with a mild presence on the tongue. It finished with some enjoyable sourness. This is a very tasty treat that I recommend trying. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A whole lotta head - watch out! Fig, deep raisin, fruit, plums, slightly acidic, a bit of alco burn. Essentially a better $-valued Pannepot Reserva (don’t hold me accountable to that claim)

Malty, woodsy smell. Earthy overall. Somewhat alcoholic taste with additional nuts and molasses. Light in bod for such a drink. Solid for the price. Nice foamy head.

Deep red with thick, persistent, creamy mokka head. Aroma soft: roasted malts, oily. Taste very nice: roasted malts, very oily, some alcohol, some sweetness in the back. A little astringent mouthfeel, like cinnamon. Not too rich or complex, decent.

Sweet fruity (berries), liquorice, some bitterness. The beer has a good combination of light and heavier flavours and a good mouthfeel. Nice.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma; caramel, toffee, fruit, almond pudding, sweet chocolate and honey sweet belgian yeast. Look; big persistent light brown head on hazy caramel body. Taste; caramel, toffee, liquoriced malts, prune, oak, almond, luxembourgian candies - chocolate sweet finish. Feel; solid body, gentle. Overall; good dessert beer, and perfect final on Constitution Day. [Big thnx 2 Finn for 33cl.btl 8.2% BB17032019 Tapped16/3-17]

Bottle. Hazy chestnut brown, fine beige head. Perfect rerention. The aroma is as classic as it only could be. Nice spicy yeast, esters, caramel, toffee, banana. Full body. The taste is delicious and complex. Medium dry. Rich dark malts. Finest Belgian yeast. Prune. Notable hops and subtle roast on ending. Excellent balance. No alco feel. Great effort this one.
