kraddel (9334) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 20, 2013
pours rather clear amber, almost no foam smells a bit sweet, grainy , malty taste is bit metallic, bit bitter( hoppy even ) on an amber-typical back . ok .. rather high carbo blends together with the bitterness to create a feel+taste combo that is very intresting

Goudkleurig met oranje tint, matige witte schuimkraag. Aroma van gist, mouten, graan en hop. Medium bitter, zeer licht zoet. Weinig body, waterig, medium co2. In alles vrij middelmatig.

Trappist1 (646) - Diest, BELGIUM - SEP 17, 2013
Amber van kleur. Bruine suiker, mouterig, karamel. zoetig en wat beperkte nasmaak. Niets speciaal

Christos (5909) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - SEP 2, 2013
Bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 5.7% Very deep orange copper colour on the body, with a well sized off-white head, with good retentiona and heavy lacing left on the glass. Aroma is malty, grainy, with some caramel. Taste follows the nose, very grainy taste, sweet with caramel but with a quite bitter aftertaste that saves it at the end. Medium thin body, a bit too carbonated. Nothing special on this one but a decent beer.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Yellow-orange pour with a white head. The aroma is full of oranges, grain and sugar. The flavor is very similar with some orange, light pine, biscuit malt and sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

blackisle (2892) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - AUG 9, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2015 Caramel and cinnamom, sweet aroma, roasty, strong malts, earthy, copper color, clear with a little haze, minimal head, at first quite sweet, caramel, develops into toasty bitterness, medium body, creamy, lively, bitter finish. Rerated 151009: Bottle 33cl. Light hazy amber, small off-white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing; aroma sweet malts, roasted, caramel, hint of cinnamom, citrus; taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter; medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, bitter finish, some fruit, bit spicy; in the meantime a lot of comparable Belgian ales tasted, this one is ok which means losing some points (from 3.7 tot 3.4).
