Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, keller, light roasted, light moderate hoppy, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
From tap at ZBF2011. Pours clear and dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight yeasty. Draft @ Fermentoren, Copenhagen as Troubadour Speciale. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty grainy yeasty caramel flavor. Has a fruty malty grainy caramel finish.

ACBF - post fest tasting in Mes&Sims room. Hazy amber beer, little off white head. Light dry palate. Frothy dry malt. Some alka seltzer. Dry finish. Bland and over dry.

Bottle at post-ACBF 2011 tasting. Poura s vibrant gold with a fine, bubbly head. Slight metal in the aroma, plenty of cereal malts. Kind of sweet, notes of honey and white bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Mild grassy hops to finish, more doughy malts. Meh.
