Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy dark brown-black in colour with liquorice, aniseed, chocolate, star anise and pear flavours followed by rich red fruit, currants and slight vanilla and oak on the sweet finish. Superb! Yorker (2007) - Herning, DENMARK - NOV 5, 2015
75 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are herbs, roasted malt, and caramel - with a roasted finish. SirLimpsalot (4244) - SWEDEN - NOV 3, 2015
@ Kulminator 15-10-31: Ingen större doft, men en trevlig dunker med fina humliga toner och små oljiga undertoner. Ganska ok. rekvium (426) - Odense C, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2015
From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with an off white head. Aroma of crystal malts, roasted, stale hops, grass, resin. Taste is liqourice, coffee, stale hops, resin. This is just wrong... MrOrla (3216) - Odense C, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2015

Aroma hits with interesting dark fruit. Taste doesn’t quite match being a little bit one sided. CraftBeerNick (2567) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 17, 2015
Bottle at home, 17th October 15. Pours black, big white throthy head. Aroma is hoppy, some cocoa, slightly soapy. Taste is bitter sweet, caramel, burnt sugar, herbal, lingering bitterness. ABV well hidden. Not bad BruceNorris (1) - FRANCE - OCT 10, 2015 does not count
Superbe brune black Ipa belge qui rappelle un bon porter ou une impérial stout houblonnée ! Caramel café et amertume belge, un mélange idéal ? veceo (1362) - Pula, CROATIA, - OCT 10, 2015
Very dark brown color, average sized off white head. Aroma is very fruity, malty, touch of licorice, slightly herby. Taste is also very fruity, licorice, coffee, caramel, roast, nuts, malty, not much bitterness but still lovely hoppy finish. Slightly dry. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Alcohol is nicely hidden. Great stuff.Rubin77 (2133) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - OCT 10, 2015
