0,33l bottle. Hazy thick mud-like dark brown colour with medium lasting creamy beige head. Aroma: Caramel, chocolate with cognac and ementaler notes. Taste: Sweet full rich malty start with a warming bitter mouthfeel. Has a lot cognac caracter in the sip with a creamy/silky texture. Medium/full body with soft carbonation. Long balanced finish. It was great, similar to the belgian strong ales like Trappistes Rochfort 8, but I can’t really find the IPA caracter. geolgau (407) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - MAY 2, 2017
Dark brown, beige head. Aroma is good: liquorice, coffee, caramel, grassy hops, nice subtle roastiness. Medium to full body, light carbonation. Taste is a bit sweet, with a complex, bitter and sweet finish. Flavors follow the nose profile, getting along nicely with the overall feeling of the beer. Great! simontomlinson (556) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Biscuit coloured creamy head whirled on top of a still, very dark brown thick body. Looks amazing!
Rich aroma of plum, dark sugar, Belgian yeast, chocolate & dark spirits.
Medium to full bodied, creamy and minimal carbonation.
Big tastes of chocolate, stone fruit, coffee, rye, dark spirits & cream.
Listed as a Black IPA - but never is! This is a full bodied Hoppy Quad with big bold flavours - just wish I hadn’t chilled it thinking it was an IPA.

Bottled. 15cl sample. The aroma has chocolate, caramel, dried fruit. Brown coloured beer with a medium, off-white head. The taste is light bitter, sweetish with Belgian yeast tones. Full bodied. Nice quad. Zilverenmaan (262) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - APR 17, 2017
Poors dark redbrown with dense, pale-mokka head quite persistent. Aroma both burnt and hoppy. Taste: medium hoppy bitterness with burnt and lingering, gentle bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel hardly oily, alcohol well hidden, carbonation a bit too lively to my taste. Very nice hops! leaparsons (10696) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 16, 2017
