Nydelig. Overraskende lett helle over drvelen - her gjelder det vre forsiktig!

Marrn oscura, opaca, abundante espuma cremosa beige. Buen aspecto. Aroma no muy intenso pero complejo. Tostado, licor, chocolate, ans. Tono seco y algo ahumada. Sabor rico, y complejo tambin. Caf, vainilla, chocolate, algo de fruta roja. Amargor potente. Final rico, bien amargo y calrico. Tal vez ms cercana a una imperial stout.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy dark brown-black in colour with liquorice, aniseed, chocolate, star anise and pear flavours followed by rich red fruit, currants and slight vanilla and oak on the sweet finish. Superb!

75 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavour are herbs, roasted malt, and caramel - with a roasted finish.

Ganska ok.
