bottle, big thannks to tderoeck for the trade, fresh from the source. more like a dark red ipa than a black ipa, shortlived head, moderate lacing; aroma of cocoa powder, tropical fruits; slightly underwhelming bitterness, stonefruits, chocolate milk; okayish but not as good as i was expecting

750ml bottle enjoyed @ a friends cottage. Pours dark red brown with a small off-whit head. Aroma is floral, hints of coffee, roasted malt, carame and alcohol. Flavour is bittersweet. Medium bodied, thin texture, soft texture. Finish is hoppy and rancid with a little alcohol burn.

Not really sure what kind of beer this is branded as, it has a nice hop aroma and finish, but there is a clear alcohol presence , but that doesnt take away from its drinkability.

28/07/2015 @Centerpars Meerdal, 33cl bottle from a gift. Black colour with small head. Much coffee in nose & taste, some caramel, hops. Bitter ending. Just a bit too high on coffee for me, I wouldve loved more hops taste.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of toffee, cooked sugar, smoke. Taste is toffee, light bitter. More of a dubbel without the yeast kick.

Dark red to almost black color with light brown foam, aroma of citrus with fruity tones (first impression were green apples), ful mouthfeel, bitter sour, tastes like bread toasted on a campfire, caramel also, dry aftertaste, overall an above average beer in his style, yet not the best

Butelka, warka do 05-03-17. Wysmienite piwo.

A very nice hoppy black ale. First smell shows some freshness you dont expect with this level of alchohol. First sip of this black beer shows roasted malts with coffee and some prunes. It has a nice carbonization and bitterness behind this, it sizzles, and leaves your mouth wanting more. An ale that should be drunk slowly. And which grows. ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)
