Bottle sample at a tasting at troublesís place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden-orange. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, some clove, gingerbread. Sweetish flavor with spices, malt, caramel. Pretty light-bodied. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - FEB 26, 2015
Backlog rating from 15/11/14. Pumpkin beers seem to go one of two ways for me, either the brewer wants to make a beer with authentic pumpkin and autumn spice flavours, or wants to make something that tastes like artificially sweet pumpkin pie. Both have their respective virtues and sins. This was more of the authentic route, nicely and tastefully muted and understated with more of a cinnamon highlight than the pumpkin. stravale (3055) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - JAN 9, 2015

Dark copper amber, clear, frothy off white head, some lacing
Aroma of cinnamon, gingerbread, sweet fruity malts, no hops, quite spicy and aromatic
Taste - Cinnamon, spicy, lots of cinnamon, sweet caramel malts, dry spicy perhaps a little aggressive as it dominates the flavour
Palate - Soft carb, medium light body, rather sweet. Finish of heavy cinnamon, sweet malts
Overall - Not a fan of these pumpkin spicy brews. It was OK though and I drank most of the bottle.
Bottle at home from mchughs. Pours amber with wispy white head. All cinnamon, clove nose. Flavour is pumpkin, Rye, cinnamon finish. Light body with watery finish. Not bad for style. Beersiveknown (5284) - NORTHERN IRELAND - DEC 10, 2014

Clear mid amber. Butternut squash, dusty grain sacks and a hint of cinnamon. Lively carbonation, initial sweetness, earthy, a big burst of ginger, creamy wheat like notes and a fruity finish. Growing spice but not OTT...probably the best pumpkin brew Iíve had to date.
Draught at the Headline. Hazy orange Amber with a solid head. Aroma is cinnamon and a little pumpkin. Sweetish malt, medium spiced with a little vanilla. Lovely tangy spiced finish, almost Christmassy. Creedence (309) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 7, 2013
Had this one on cask and keg side-by-side at Bierhaus Cork. The cask was getting a bit long in the tooth, so I said Iíd rate both to give it an accurate reflection.
Cask: pours a hazy ruby copper with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is fairly vinegary, as itís beginning to turn... but still some nice pumpkin notes coming through. Taste is nice malty and squash sweetness with a little spice and a touch of sour. Smooth but reasonably full mouthfeel, sweet and lightly spicy aftertaste.
Keg: left it warm up a little, and the aroma really started to come out. Lots of cinnamon, clove and pumpkin - smells like a fresh spiced pumpkin pie! Light sour start on the taste with a very spicy sweetness and a doughy malty finish. Light spiced aftertaste with a smooth and full mouthfeel. Now thatís more like it!
Overall, a really nice and drinkable pumpkin ale. Spiced beers wouldnít usually be my think, but I really enjoyed this one! stjamesgate (257) - IRELAND - OCT 30, 2013
On tap at Against The Grain.
Orange-amber with a white collar. Squash and spice on the nose. Toffee and carrot up front, big nutmeg and cinnamon in middle, then earthy hops. Medium, chewy and round.
Thin, over spiced and sticky. More pumpkin spice than pumpkin. Too light for the style, too. Nothing special.
