Out of the can. Light toasted malt, honey, light pine. Medium to full and somewhat syrupy body

Clean light amber color with a formidable head of solid white creamy foam. Light caramel and honey flavor and aroma with a touch of floral and herbal hops.

12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 40°. Color is a bright clear golden with a hint of amber. Carbonation is good giving it a nice head when poured but it fell quickly to a thin covering. Aroma is light with some sweet malt notes. It has a lighter body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is sweet, some honey and malt then a very faint bitterness that leaves it finishing clean with the honey lingering for a moment. Overall it's weak for an Amber, but is a clean easy drinking brew.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2017 Thin, short lived head atop an amber body. It smells of subtle notes of bread and earth. It tastes fine, though not exceptional. It's good and readily drinkable. There's a sweetness to it from the added honey.

Sample at the Beer/Port/Mead/Homebrew Tasting on 07/20/2017. Clear copper-amber color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Musty malt, fruit and caramel aroma. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, cardboard and a bit of fruity hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Below average overall.

Can. It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was of nuts, malts, caramel and some earth. The taste was similar to the aroma with more caramel, toasted malts, grain and some citrus. Just ok.

Somehow worse than After Party, somehow as horrendous as a fake craft amber ale brewed with honey can be. Metallic, fake-toffee malts meet a cloying, focus group-tested honey sweetness, resulting in a concoction even your drain might reject. Jesus, how much worse can this mixed-twelver get?

Clear amber pour with a thin white head. Aroma of toffee, cooked red apple and bread. Flavor is toffee, metal, apple, grass and stale tea. Light body, medium, sharp carbonation, dry, metallic feel. Big bunch of meh.

The flavor of this beer... Totally reminds me of taking a tequila shot and biting a lime.... 5 seconds later you have this taste in your mouth... with a hint of something tropical as well..... This beer is that taste! It isn’t bad but I was expecting more of a social beer.... However being a smoker my palate is not up to par! I will say, I will still purchase more Red Flag. It’s a great party beer! <3 TROUBLE! TASTE TIL YOU DIE! IS THERE COCONUT IN THIS?

Can during the ’16 Salmon River trip. Amber color, but mild aroma and taste. Very muted. The color is about all that suggests amber ale. Pale malt and some sweetness, a little grassy hop. Really bland.
