Thanks Kate for sending.
Poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color.
The smell had some pine, trying to be bitter, but seems fairly burnt
The taste was basically the same, but coming across in a weird weak sort of way. Uh...really weird aftertaste and finish, burnt breadiness??? - slightly.
The palate, well, it was pretty disappointing, lost toastiness - a ton of faded/muted hops building a dryness claiming my tongue and beating into submission.
Overall, not sure what happened here and if Kate sent this as a joke, but yeah, don’t think I’d want to try again.

Murky orange. Light pine resin. Weak taste. Minor bitterness. Caramel and candy flavors. Resin finish. BrownALEx (459) - Portland, Michigan, USA - OCT 9, 2013
From the pour this beer is overly carbonated. I had to stop mid pour to let the freaking head go down. Cloudy amber color with floaties. Almost no aroma, yeast is about all I get. Taste is not much better. No need to elaborate. Palate is on the watery side. Overall, it is my own damn fault. I went cheap at a big time beer store. You get what you pay for. milewide (2304) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 22, 2013
Totally bland! No aroma or taste. Cloudy amber color. No style id on label, so I bought thinking it was an IPA. But---it was a third rate pale ale. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Bottle. Sweet hoppy taste. Palate is marred by too much carbonation. Otherwise enjoyable.

bottle. Amber with small head. Mild hops and decent flavor in this pretty average pale ale. No off flavors, but nothing exceptional either.

Bottle pour to shaker. Hazy, light amber. Watery lemon taste with a light, sweet finish. polarisbeerguy (22) - Lake Orion, Michigan, USA - APR 24, 2013
A nice pale ale great beer on the golf course refreshing but not filling and a great taste to match got cereal and light hops that’s easy on palate czar (9338) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 14, 2013
pours unclear medium dark golden without a head. odd fruitiness, toastiness and caramel, few fainted biscuity notes, some spicy notes. short bland herbal-citrusy finish, soft carbonation, light body, fairly light citrusy-grassy hopping. weak brew. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bottle. Cloudy orange brown pour with a small head. Floral, leather, citrus, herb and spice. Orange peel, light body, strong carbonation, light syrupy sweetness. More body and depth would better balance this beer.
