Bottle filched from my in-laws’ refrigerator after their trip to Vermont. Pours a pretty dark reddish-chestnut, hazy, especially at the bottom of the bottle. Small head. Nose is tea-like with notes of fruit and some esters. Some grain/metallic notes. Taste has some tannic qualities and all around meh-ness to it.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2013 $8.75 for the 6pack, which was bought from the Wal Mart in Barre, but technically, it’s actually located in Berlin. Go figure, I certainly had to. To undersized snifter, it pours a rusty prune light brown, showcasing an off-plaque fizzy head barely a fingernail in length. Tastes and smells of tree bark, walnuts, raspberry syrup, and amber malt extract. Not the best that Vermont has to offer, but also not the worst, either. Drinkable.

(1er mai 2013)

ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - SEP 20, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a orangish honey color with a small whitish head. Aroma is sweet malt with a bisquity, doughy background. The taste is a chewy sweet malt with some floral and earthy flavors, and a touch of honey in the end. Mouthfeel is light and the flavors are well balanced, with a metalic tinge in the aftertaste.
