Why does a dark beer come in a clear bottle? Dont know if this beer have had to much sun, but this was a very thin beer. No aroma, very little taste and a thin palate. emotv (353) - Izmir, TURKEY - APR 2, 2004
The second dark lager beer in Turkey. You can only find it several markets maybe in big markets like Migros or Tansas.Have a sempatic glass.Reddish colour, not very creamy.Straight taste. SilkTork (5738) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2003
Clear glass bottle with the Trojan horse logo and the name of the beer embossed on the glass. The colour is a smokey amber, like a scarlet tinged tea - quite attractive. Aroma is a mix of faint smokey malt and CO2. Mouthfeel is thin to light medium with some light but harsh carbonation. Taste is of cold stewed weak tea and a vague medicine. Not great. In fact, fairly poor. Troy is not seen around as much as the main Tuborg brands, while Tuborg, although seen in every town, can't compete with the overwhelming popularity (and better quality) of Efes. Brown coloured. Awful skunky smell of rotten meat and fish. Thin and watery. Very bad.
