luttonm (6273) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 15, 2017
Gravity cask at Andrew and Rachel’s wedding in Oxford. Quite dark, copper brown with clearish edge. Lingering foam head, dark off white. Great character, bitter copper grain and warm wood. Smooth, delicious Ale. Not terribly special but this is delicious, and a solid and enjoyable drinker.

Grumbo (2947) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2017
Cask at the Lady Ottoline, London. Pours chestnut brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, malt, light fruit. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Toward medium bodied, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. A bit above average bitter.

JK (6160) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 7, 2016
Cask at Grafton Arms, Westminster. This bitter is different from the others I have tried, dark amber. Head is not as thick and does not leave the same lacing. Malt aroma and a flavor with a significat roasted malt flavor, and much more of thst than the other bitters ai have tried in the UK in 2016. Good, but not great palate.

Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 11, 2016
Cask @ Wetherspoons. Clear golden color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a hint of apple, a bit sweet initially and a slight bitter finish. Low body, low carbonation. Meh.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2016
Cask at The Globe, Moorgate, London. This was drunk pretty late into a heavy session in London and my notes are pretty shoddy but I remember it as a deep ruby-brown beer with a diminishing, off-white head that left loose lacing. On the whole it was a tasty bitter with smooth, creamy character and peppery/herbal hop notes.
