Pours a clear light gold color with a small head that maintains a fairly thick small bubble lace. Lots of carbonation. Middle Europe hops in aroma. Fairly crisp and dry. Decent if found on sale.

12 oz bottle, an extra from DarkElf - thanks! Pours a hazy slightly orange-golden color with a creamy white head. Aroma is fresh floral and herby with a light maltiness, a bit of lemon grass and soap. Tart refreshing pilsner flavor, sweet grains, citrus notes, flower petals and a bit of spice. Crispy carbonation and light to medium body. Nice example of the style.

Served on tap at Romans Pub in Milwaukee, in the correct glassware. Mike was fighting with the tap but wasn’t about to serve until he had the pour just right - much appreciated. Beer looks very desirable - clear pale yellow in a tall cylindrical glass. Aroma light mut pleasant. Flavor just slightly sour, some detectable hop bitterness. Light-medium moiuthfeel, not bad for a pilsner.

Bottle: Pale yellow, quite clear, large foamy white head, fairly nice lacing, light carbonation.   Sweet grassy nose, pale malts.   Very soft grassy malt profile on the tongue.   Very clean.   No real noticeable hops.   Very pale example, but very clean, VERY clean.   Fairly crisp too.   Moderate to full body, moderate mouthfeel.   Soft pale grassy malts on the finish, very soft.   I am impressed with how clean this is, no nasty lingering aftertaste.   Smooth...

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2007
(Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a dense, white head leaving some lacework. Crispy malt aroma. Medium-bodied with some sweet malt balanced by dry, floral hops. Very smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant. 200307

Draught, a clear gold with a bubbly white head. A grainy aroma. Sweetish palate with some pineapple in the flavour, but a bit bland overall.

STEPHENDR (478) - California, USA - MAR 8, 2007
12 oz. bottle - color of pale yellow , with a frothy quickly dissipating stark white head - nose of light hopps , hay / straw , and crisp – taste of hay , hopps , bitter , very slight skunk , and light fruit - body is crisp , light , and mildly carbonated – aftertaste of hay , and slight hopps

Ordered at a ultra trendy bay area suburban bar so the price is a little inflated, but it was a beer i have never had before so i went with it. Traditional pilsner aroma and appearance. Mouthfeel is very nice, goes down very smooth. Flavor is very hoppy with some malty textures. Overall a nice beer, not worth 6 bucks though.

Dorqui (2257) - Brescia, ITALY - FEB 25, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2007 Bottled. Shining yellow color with good fizz. Creamy and adherent head of good duration. Bitter and light alcoholic scent with notes of malty, cereals and dry grass. Pungent and lively taste even if a lot washed out. Long-lasting bitter, decidedly refreshing even if of short persistence.

A well done average pilsner. Very dry and a little sweet, with a taste of honey. Light and drinkable, it accompanied my pizza perfectly.
