Tap at brewery. Pours a golden, pale lager yellow color. Aroma is slightly sweet, slightly tart almost a salty Apple cider aroma. Taste is a good salty, sweet mixture with tart Apple notes, sea air, salt. Finishes slightly dry. Palate is light body, high carb. Refreshing!! My second favorite gose other than Westbrooks. 12 oz at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a small ring of a white head and solid lacing. The aroma is clean with plenty of assertive wheat and subtle tropical notes, earthiness and lemon. The palate is smooth. They nailed the salt on this one, it’s there enough to be easily noticed but does not overwhelm. There are flavors of lemon, earthy hops, leather, wheat and the finish is salty and refreshing. Very clean, very balanced and highly drinkable. It’s not overly complicated, but serves as a fantastic session beer providing a departure from the norm. Ratman197 (14698) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 14, 2014
On tap at Trve poured a hazy yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, salt, light citrus, light coriander and a hint of smoke. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, salt, yeast, citrus, light coriander and light smoke with a smooth lingering salty citrus finish. j12601 (11162) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 10, 2015
Growler at James’ for his 11k tasting. Pours a clear yellow gold with no head. Soft lemon and funk with a hint of smoke on the nose. Medium bodied, lightly tart with a bit of salinity. Tangy with wheat and grain into the finish. drfabulous (7818) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Sampled at GABF. Salty wheat beer (why not Gose?) Light body. Not too wheat like in taste or flavor.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear lemon color with a small persistent white head. Aroma reminds me of a soft pretzel, biscuit and sea water. Taste too reminds me of a warm soft pretzel (to me this is a nice thing) with wheat, biscuit, lemon, salt. I would love to try other salt beers! dalekliz (922) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 14, 2014
On tap at Trve. Pours a clear gold with a white ring. Tart aroma, of underripe fruits, yeast, grass, spices. Taste is crisp and sour, of grapefruit, yeast, grass, coriander, with the salt coming through just enough. Lingering yeasty sourness. Interesting, works pretty well. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Growler. Light lime and yellow pour with white bubbles. Light fruit, spice, herbal and mild tart aromas. Light spice, salt, fruit, herbal and a hint of tartness. djd07 (14369) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Tap at WTF 4. Pours a cloudy gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is salt, funk, wheat, mineral. Medium body, salt, wheat, light tartness, good. fonefan (48790) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 30, 2013
Unclear medium yellow colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, light citrus, moderate yeasty, yeast, light salty water, light coriander. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, spicy - coriander, yeast, minerals, light salty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO. a Gose.
