Bottle, pours a golden orange with a thin-ish head. Quite a nice contrast to the beer, you have a pineapple freshness and sweetness matched up with a gooseberry tartness with a hoppy dry finish.

jamestulloch (4108) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 22, 2013
Aroma: Grass, wood, grapefruit, caramel and dry, dusty yeast.

Appearance: Murky amber body with tiny yeast particles floating around. Large off-white head. No visible carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: This tastes incredibly fresh and hoppy with a lovely soft yeast flavour. Blood orange, grass and lime - sharp and bitter. Delicious.

Palate: Medium body with a very oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: A dry, tangy IPA - maybe the driest beer I’ve ever tasted. Very pithy and citric. In my opinion, this is better than Tryst’s Raj IPA.

3.5

The taste is orange, apricot, light tartness, grapefruit, hay straw and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty solid stuff all-round.
