Cask at Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. A hazy black beer with a brown shine under a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, grass, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, grassy hops, and spices, leading to a dry bitter finish. The body is light.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Fruity nose, lightly sour. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Light brett. Moderately sour generic fruits, cherry and orange identifiable. Crisp finish. Not sure if the end result was what the brewer intended, but its all right.

Bottle. A clear, dark amber body with a small, white head. Weak nose with some toasted malts and a fruity hint. Rather weak flavor too, roasted and toffee-ish, slighlty licorice like and bitter. Medium body. Short, roasted finish with some bitterness. A boring one, even for a British bitter. 110819
