UPDATED: NOV 14, 2017 On cask at the Bon Accord, Glasgow. Mid November 2017. Slightly hazy, but a decent pint and flavour. Not sure what it’s trying to be but it’s pretty average to frank

Destaca el carácter maltoso, con notas frutales y fondo dulce. Curiosa. Tomada en CASK.

On keg at Cloisters. Appearance - deep amber to red with a nice lacy head. Nose - toffee and an edge of orange. Taste - the toffee piles on in. Some nuts. There’s always a percentage of nutters. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - decent example of the style.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Fruity nose, lightly sour. Palate is light, semi dry and minerally crisp. Light brett. Moderately sour generic fruits, cherry and orange identifiable. Crisp finish. Not sure if the end result was what the brewer intended, but it’s all right.

Cask at Congress, Longton. Pours dark ruby brown with off white head. Sweetish pretty basic bitter. It’s Ok just a little mundane.

500ml bottle muled to me from Scotland by my friend AZ - thanks, A!! Dead-looking brown-amber with minimal head. Quite a lot of caramel with a little licorice and sour persimmon - oddly strong for 4%, at least on the nose. Taste - mostly sour and watery. Maybe a bit past its prime?
